The Bronx Park Woodshop is one of the finest woodshops open to the public in Winnipeg.

We offer a number of courses and clinics, and we are open three times per week for drop-in sessions where safety-certified community members can use the shop and it's tools to work on personal projects.

FITNESS

Bronx Sports

We offer programming in Hockey, Outdoor Soccer and Indoor Soccer. See full details of these programs on their specific pages under the Program menu.  Our soccer clubs are run under Phoenix.  For registration dates, please check the Phoenix website. 

 

Bronx Open Gym -

Our gymnasium is open for use by youth at no charge on Mondays 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm and Wednesdays 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm (varies)- parental supervision recommended. Options include basketball, soccer and floor hockey.  Participants should come dressed in appropriate attire including indoor footwear.  Changes rooms are not available for this programming.

PICKLEBALL - PARENT & YOUTH

Drop-in Badminton-.

Challenge your children in a cutthroat match of Badminton. Free of charge for children, no registration required. Participants should come dressed in appropriate attire, indoor shoes only, no black sole please.  Changes rooms not available for this programming.  Adults $3.00 each

Sundays 6:00 PM - 7:00 pm for families

Woodshop

The Bronx Community Centre is home to a fully functional woodshop. We offer courses from introductory to intermediate along with specialized topics such as inlay and paddle making. The woodshop is also available for drop-in use with safety certification. See the woodshop page for more information

 

Farmer's Market

During the summer months (June - September), Bronx Community Centre is home to a bustling Farmer's market on Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
